I'm currently living at home and attending a community college. Problems at home have been stressing me out and I'm at my breaking point. This has been going on for over two years now, which is why I dropped out of a four-year university and took an entire year off.

Once again, I can't handle being here and yet, I can't afford to be on my own with what I earn from my part-time job.

I just want to get out of here so that I can focus with school and get these people who bother me out of my head. This is just too much for me. They cause me too much pain.

I don't have anywhere else to go.

Can I get a loan for this? Advice?

Yes. You can use a student loan for any school related expenses.

Unless things have changed in the 10 years since I was in school, you can use a student loan for whatever you want.

When I was in school, you had to fill out the FAFSA (? name) application and then your financial need was determined. You could take out loans in any amount up to either the maximum yearly amount or the difference between your financial need and your total aid and/or expected family contributions.

That money could then be used for housing, tuition, book, etc. The school I went to would deduct your tuition and then cut you a check for the remaining balance.

EDIT
One word of advice from personal experience. DO NOT take any more loan money than you absolutely need. Graduating with $20,000 or more in debt can put a real dent in that great life you're supposed to have as a college grad.

You can get a student loan for anything... LOL i got mine from wellsfargo, with a 7.63% APR untill 6 months after i graduate, and then it goes up to 8.40% and thats it untill i pay it off. and i can use it on anything. i got a laptop, and an xbox.... haha, but i am in college for graphic design so IMO its nessissary. but anyway you can spend it on anything. wellsfargo is good with the APR. try Astrive, i think the apr is higher but try it if you dont have wellsfargo. also check Chase, its goood.
