My son started out at SUNY Delhi and transferred to Penn State, and he says hands down Penn State is much better than SUNY. If you start out at Altoona the first year, it's much easier to get in to the main campus as a transfer student.
I went to Southern Connecticut State U myself, and I believe Penn is better unless you are planning to be a teacher (word is that students who graduate from CT State universities get pushed to the top of the list for good teaching jobs).

If you start at Penn State Altoona, and do well, you can move on to main campus, which is a good university with many options.

In general, I'd put my money on SUNY Albany, but the answer will be different depending on exactly which program you are interested in as the 3 institutions have strengths in different areas.

SUNY- Albany...a great education...for less money than the other schools.
If money is a consideration, SUNY-Albany
is your best bet. They have a very good
academic standing in a review of American
colleges and universities.

your education is what you make of it, i know someone who started off at a community college and became a doctor, I also know some one who went to Yale and dropped out and now works at target
