Both fields require a LOT of chemistry; for pharmacy, the requirement is usually six courses during undergrad, then you go to pharmacy school (two years more, or there are combined programs). Medical school is an additional four years after four years of UG, and these are 11 month years, no summers off! Medical school is more rigorous, but pharmacy is demanding as well. If you don't LOVE chemistry, don't consider pharmacy!

There are some highschool/college programs that get your pharmacist in 6 years, but without this it is 8 years now.
Pharmacists deal less with people and don't have any great insurance issues.
They make $60-90K a year
A doctor is 8 years college and 1 year internship and the starting pay is $100-150K

Pharmacy school is difficult, but it takes shorter than an MD. Pharmacy is usually 2 years of undergrad pre-requisites plus 3 years of concentration in Pharmacy; whereas MD is 3 years undergrad plus another 4 year of residency. Pharmacy is a good choice for a bachelor's degree (B. Sci in Pharmacy) because it pays more than most other Bachelor's degrees, and obviously an MD will pay you well, but also keep in mind the student loans you may or may not have after racking up 7 years of schooling. Hope that helps!

go for scientist. how about molecular biology and biochemistry? you will probably like that. Anyways, those are all advanced degree things and you need to get through college first. Double major in biology and chemistry and see what you like.
