I Flunked my first year in college (due to me being homeless). I went to school in NY, but will be moving to New Jersey. Should I tell the New college That I apply to that im an incoming Freshman (Which I am as far as my credits go), or should I tell them the truth about my previous college expirence??? If so, they wont accept me into the nursing program! Please Help. I really wanna be a nurse. I PLEASE HELP ME

my dad is a nurse.. and he failed his first year of college and decided to just start over at a different one without claiming that he attended another school... nothing really bad about it.

I would check into which schools offer a program that will provide you with an RN. Then enroll in a community college that provides the classes to satisfy the core requirements of the nursing school of your choice, and Just do your best. If you take your time, and take two classes per quarter, or semester, and make good grades, this is the most important provision that will be considered by the admissions office of your choice of the school of nursing. Besides, it will be more economical.

I don't know about other nursing programs but in Ohio you can flunk a whole quarter and still be a nurse.. you just have to repeat the quarter. With the shortages we are having in health care I don't see how they could possibly not accept you regardless of past performance.. unless you are trying to get a scholarship or other award based on your previous academic grades.

well they are going to want a transcript so they will know about the other school.
