I'm just OK in math and stuff like accounting. I'm really good in subjects like history and stuff... but I'm not sure if I should take a business program or not...what if I drop out? whereas in an art program..i think i will be more successful..

if i take a business program in university..after i graduate I will have more career opportunities...hmm..i'm just not sure..

Just wondering as you do pay for room and board after all, and I know colleges don't completely close their doors. Also foreign students and students far away from home have no where to go.

I had bad grades as sophmore and freshmen(2.9), and as a junior, first semester, i got a 3.4 unweighted, and a 3.7 weighted. Considering i get a 4.0 unweighted (4.25 or so weighted), what extra curricular activities can i take to try to make up for my bad GPA, and what other things can i do to ensure that i go to a good college. I also wanted to know if there are any good colleges that would accept me in CA, ideally U.C's. I looked online, and their GPA average estimates are insane, but hopefully i can make up for my screwing around the last two years. PLZ, can anyone help me??? Thanks

I plan on graduating early and entering college as a 16 year-old (I'm taking a test called the CHSPE for California residents.) Since I can't immediately enter into a 4-year university from high school, I'm going to go to community college for two years and then transfer. Can I get into Stanford from community college if I have a 4.0 (in community college) and a 2200-2300 on my SATs?

My grades were bad and I didn't want to persue a career in the field that I graduated in. I just finished it b.c I couldn't see anypoint in dropping out once I got halfway through and realised I hated it.

Two years down the track I am still working in retail, although I am on the path to management, and my store pays some pretty decent dollars.

Would you suggest that another degree in a different field (that I am actually interested in) would be a waste of time, because the bad grades from my other degree will be a fatal black mark for life. Or because with two degrees one appear to not have been motivated from the get go (which is true). That and the fact that I will be 28 when/if I get a second degree.

I am comfortable, but by no means happy in my line of work. For the field I want to work in and the job I see myself doing, you are required to have the appropriate college degree.

I or skip a second college and try for one for the police force or other career services.

I am 26 now, and I just started taking basics at a community college. I want to desperately attend a great university like, University of Texas or Texas A&M but don't want to get my hopes high. I'm doing well in my community college w/a 3.8 GPA, but I'm afraid my past will catch up with me. I've been to jail a couple times and recieved probation twice. Although this was years ago it's still there.I've changed my life since. The charges were not drug related or fellonies. Can someone fill me in? Thanks.
