This question has been asked before but I want to ask again because I'm in a different situation.

I go to UCSD and my school doesn't offer an architecture major. It only offerers 'Structural Engineering' and I pray to God that there's another way to become an architect.

My questions are:
Could I still become an architect?
Are there grad schools for this field? If so, what are the classes I have to take?
How do I become an architect starting from my situation. I'm a sophomore at UCSD majoring in urban studies and visual arts.

I attending a college in Texas from 2002-2005. During the fall of '05 Hurricane Rita distrupted school and I never returned. I never made my last 2 payments to them because i didn't return. Now 2 years later I want to return to school in another state, but my old school will not release my transcipts. Can they do this????

I think they're a big fraud. My bf got a degree through them in computer networking in june of this year and was expecting immediate job offers like they advertise on TV especially since he graduated with honors...we continue to apply like crazy but he doesnt even get an interview with the resume itt tech made for him. the only jobs he has landed was with circuit city for $8.75 an hour away and a mom and pop shop for $8/hr thats 10 min away. his loans go into repayment in january and theyre $648/month...ITT Tech is an institute of false advertisement! he has all the credentials to be making big bucks but he doesnt have the professional experience and how is he spossed to get certified if the big bucks itt tech promised dont come in for him to afford to take the test to get certified?!!

hi....i am currently enrolled in NYU as a international politics major with a minor in pre-business. however, ive been having conflicting interests. I'm starting to love economics (due to my professor) and now game theory study in my international politics has gotten me confused. So I am debating whether to stay with my current agenda (major: int'l politcs, minor: pre-business) OR....change to a major in economics and minor in int'l politics. I love politics, but im starting to love economics.

I ultimately want to work in the business/corporate sector. I don't want to get into politics, yet i love it. pre-business allows me to take business courses in our business school. however if i do economics as a major, and pre-business as a minor. than i would forfeit credit i took in IP. I need HELP! suggestions?

I know of Harvard, Oxford, and Yale. Can some people please list all the ivy league colleges they know, with a Pro/Con list. I am going to be applying to college next year, and I wanna be sure I know where I wanna go. I have really good grades. I have straight A's, with the occasional B or B- in math. So I think I might have a chance of getting in. Please list as many as you know! My future could be at stake.

Oh, and I would really like it if they teach law, because I would love to be a lawyer. If they don't have that, then I would love it if they had a school for the arts, because I am a talented artist and I love art with a passion(but not as much as I love justice).

I believe Ranto did not give me good advice. I asked about whether or not I should transfer from Michigan to Michigan State to complete my degree in Biochemistry and Taranto told me things like I should consider changing my major and that I would struggle where I go. Yet when I was able to pull up the exams for the first year courses for michigan and michigan state for physics, chem, and math I found out michigan state exams were much easier. Also my academic advisor told me that even if I finished at michigan state instead of michigan I still would have attended the 2nd best institution in michigan which would be impressive. She also said that it would look more appealing to have a 3.7 at michigan state than to get a only a 3.2 or less at university of michigan?

i just got my ap bio grade and its a 77. I'm sort of upset but its a hard course so i shouldn't really be surprised. All of my other grades are in the 90's this quarter. I'm a senior ranked 33/300 kids in my class and my gpa is around a 3.8 now. I sent out applications already to suny binghamton depaul uvm and suny oswego. I'm going to be sending out regular ones to northeastern and american universities. Other classes i'm taking are french 5 college english ap government and wind ensemble. is it worth it to stick it out in the class with these grades or should i drop it out. Will colleges like a 77 and think i'm an idiot or that i'm not taking strong enough classes. What is better?

hey guys, i just wanted to share my problem with you and perhaps receive some advice. i am really not accustomed to getting F letter grades or anything... The problem is that I took a programming/C++ course during an intersession at my CC. I was doing very well until about the 4th week when I couldn't do any of the assigned programming tests on the computer. The class was like 5 units and after failing it, my gpa went down from 3.5 to roughly 2.98. My chances for transferring to some decent uni are slim now, so do you guys think I should just quit and work at Mcdonald's? I'm a bit scared to retake the class...

o.k.....i have 2 college books that cost me atleast 250.00.the still like new so can i take them to a college and sell them act t the library??? i remember hearing that if i buy books i could sell them after the semester is over with......i went to a college but can i go sell them at another one or does it have to be the exact one???? thanks
