is good for studying english literature???? I have a real passion to study english and would really appreciate some advice from people at uni or just whatever advice people can give!!!!

If you get into English Literature at U of Wisconsin, you may get a semester of study at their residential UK campus in a huge Queen Anne period palace about 6 miles from Edinburgh.

The list of schools that are best at English Literature is pretty much the same as the list of schools that are the best schools. Look at any ranking of colleges to see the good ones.
The top three schools ar UC-Berkeley, Harvard and Yale.

Hunter College at City of New York University just received some accolades as a best-value college in English Literature: most financial aid, most interactive professors, and since its in New York students have great employment opportunities while in college.

I know some of my friends went to Stanford for journalism. But I do not know any specifics about the program.
