Going to take Japanese and Math 2, and I think I should take one more.

I'm considering Literature, Biology, or U.S. History.

I was thinking Literature because I'm a fairly good reader/writer and think I could do at least somewhat well on it. One thing is that my vocabulary is a little lacking (maybe). I could improve it though.

If the Biology or History tests are supposed to be easier, and are more reasoning than memorization, then maybe I should take one of them...

this is kind of random....but last night i was thinking about how in elementary school i would have recess and lunch and after eating at these times i would play with my friends - we would play tag, go down the slide, play on the monkeybars, run across the playset, play soccer, basketball, throw woodchips at each other, and alot more. why, all of a sudden though, after the 6th grade this stuff is no longer around..? all of a sudden you get into junior high and you aren't provided with this stuff anymore..is it an inherent belief or what?? i think the difference between kids and adults is kids can be carefree and play on all this stuff and adults don't. maybe that's why some people turn to drugs and alcohol..so my question is why do people believe adults shouldn't do this stuff too? don't laugh im being serious here.

Hey all. So I asked this question earlier but only got one response. I would really appreciate people's input. Thanks!

ok. So I am 19 yrs old and will be graduating from the University of Colorado this Spring. My boyfriend plans on moving to Daytona Beach to attend Embry-Riddle aeronautical university. (He was originally going to go to the Arizona school, but changed his mind.)

Anyway, we are very serious and have been discussing marriage and things. He says he wants to have kids soon, but I am nowhere near ready for that. Both of our moms were homemakers, My mom quit her job as a doctor to stay at home with me, and his mom did the same (not sure what she did though). I would love to be a stay at home mom if we can afford to, but that wouldn't happen for another 5-7 yrs or so.

So Here's my question: If I plan on staying home eventually is grad school (and maybe law school, i haven't decided on that one yet) a good investment?

I'm currently finishing an undergrad in marketing with double minors in communications and finance.

I'm wondering if there are any schools/institutes out there that offer well-known advertising programs that are great bridges to getting a successful high-earning advertisement job afterwards?

Thanks in advance

Engineering is not regarded as a profession like medicine or law for a variety of reasons. Some of these reasons include:

•the number of different professional engineering societies, •the fact that engineering societies are not a powerful as the AMA and the ABA,
•that both law and medicine require licenses granted by the state in order to practice,
•that engineering doesn’t have the social stature that law and medicine have (a fact
that is reflected in the lower pay that engineers receive as compared to that of lawyers and doctors).

Despite these differences, on balance, engineering is still clearly a profession, albeit one that is not as mature as medicine and law and that should be striving.

I would LOVE to know what people think about this!!

I currently attend NYU-Stern as an undergrad and I've decided that it's not really for me. I want to spend my undergraduate years studying liberal arts because I plan on pursuing an MBA anyway. Is it difficult transferring to a top liberal arts college from a business school like Stern? I've been looking at Amherst a lot and it seems like exactly what I want.

Simple made up example:
Asia is the biggest content in the world (Smith, 1998). It is the Northern Hemisphere (Smith, 1998).

I don't want to join the sentences coz they are long and complicated, and I don't want to say "according to" coz I've used that plenty of times.

I graduated from college last June and haven't yet found a job to begin my career. I graduated in business and want to get an MBA. Because I haven't yet started my career I fear that I shouldn't go into an MBA program that maybe won't benefit me. However, since I live at home and so I won't lose momentum with my studies I am considering enrolling in an MBA program. Plus, people tell me that if I don't do it now later on in my life, "my life" will get in the way of my studies. I also think that because I am a woman and later on maybe starting a family that can get in the way of my studies. Not only that, but if I get a job and inform them that my priority is an MBA degree they may not be supportive since my focus will not only be on my first job. Should I wait or go for it now?

ok, im doing a public speaking persuasive speech about how we should all place a very high value education (im from the USA) because it can benefit us by broadening our minds, provide economic benefits and also because of how fortunate we are in the USA to get an education....I CAN BARELY find any good websites with statistics to help with my speech after looking for hours...=( so, any sites that have to do with economic benefits/stats, maybe research on how the brain changes from education??? and even about global education statistics (such as what countries do not have the opportunities the USA has, ect) will greatly help me. I figured I could easily find this info, but it's not so. Ok, thank you so much!!!

I WANT TO GO BACK INTO SCHOOL IN MAY AND IM EXTREMELY INTERESTED IN SONOGRAPGY (ULTRA SOUND TECH). IT CATCHES MY ATTN 100% AND FITS MY PERSONALITY.
NOW, I LIVE IN HOMESTEAD (MIAMI) FL AND ALL THE TECH SCHOOLS THAT OFFER THAT PROGRAM ARE ABOUT 35+ MINS UP NORTH.

CLOSER TO WHERE I LIVE ARE SOME SCHOOLS THAT HAVE RADIOLOGY PROGRAMS. WHICH IS SIMILAR TO WHAT I WANT BUT NOT IT.

X RAY TECHS GET PAID A LITTLE MORE THAN ULTRASOUND TECHS BUT MY QUESTION TODAY IS...

MY FIANCE KEEPS TELLING ME TO GO TO SCHOOL FOR THE RADIOLOGY BECAUSE IT'S CLOSER AND @ THE END I'LL GET PAID MORE.

BUT WHAT I REALLY WANT IS SONOGRAPHY.

SO WHAT DO I DO?

FOLLOW THE MONEY OR WHAT I BELIEVE IN?

NOW, A DAYS LIVING IN MIAMI ISN'T EASY EVERYTHINGS GONE UP IN PRICES IT'S PRETTY DAMN EXPENSIVE.
HELL..... EVEN GAS IS KILLING MY *** RIGHT NOW.

I NEED OPINIONS PLZ.
