What are the advantages and disadvantages in getting a medical degree from India? (obviously its a whole hell of a lot cheaper which is why i'm genuinely considering the idea)

I have lived my whole life in the U.S. and truly want to go into the medical field. However, I don't want to go into huge debt. If I go to a medical school in India and get my degree there, would I still be considered just as equally in getting a job when I come back to the U.S. compared to those who got their degrees from an American medical school?

Gun Control; The Answer to School killings
In the past 20 years there have been several school massacres in which most involve gun usage. It is evident that the United States School system has serious issues with its student gun usage and fire arms accessibility. In order to reduce gun related school killings the U.S. Government must enforce and stricken gun control laws. Also, the U.S government must create more federal programs to promote anti-gun purchases in order to remove fire arms and prevent black market sales. Furthermore the federal law “Assault Weapons Ban” must be re enacted to prevent the possibility for extremely dangerous fire arms to enter school premises or to be sold to civilians.

Hello all,
I am French and I’m writing my CV in English. The differences between the continental Europe and the UK/USA make it a bit complicated to find the exact terms. I would thus like to obtain more details concerning the terms graduate, post-graduate and undergraduate student in the Anglophone world…
When you successfully finish your high school education, you say you are a “high school graduate”, right?
But then you go to college and you’re an under-graduate student??? I’ve actually finished my Bachelors Degree. I am currently a MBA student, and I’m applying to an internship. Should I say I’m a “MBA graduate or post-graduate student” ?
Well, I don’t know if I’ve made it clear, anyway anything you may say on this subject will be much appreciated (don’t worry if you write a long answer!!).
Thanks a lot in advance.

i've gone through some major academic and personal issues for which i've sought counseling services at my current 4 year public college. i've been prescribed medication for the depression i've been going through since earlier this year. i need to get out of the current school i'm at. can anyone tell me if a 2.0 and legitimate documentation for said difficulties will be enough to get in into transfer admissions even on probation? thanks

My housemate seems to think that there's a law, but the rest of us aren't so sure. How long do you have to wait before you can leave when your professor doesn't show up? Is it decided by the professor/school, or is there a general rule?

I will be attending graduate school in the near future and I wanted to know about what I should expect as far as the work and how to balance everyday life and attending school. I am single, no children, and no family so I know that I am ahead of the lot as far as that goes. I know that a lot of people's family life suffers while attending graduate school. Any advice or information that you can offer would be appreciated. Thank you!

I know the norm used to be four years but it has gone up has it not?

Do a lot of people still graduate in 4 years? Or is it up around 5-6? Does it really depend on what your major is?

I am a freshman in college in need of help on deciding on a major. I want to go for the medical field/dentistry. I am not so great with math, moreso in english/writing. Would that be a great disadvantage for me if I am leaning towards pre-med? Also, I heard that it's best to major in biology to have a better understanding for the medical field but am still debating because I also heard that it's extremely hard. I want to understand why it seems so hard to so many and what's the best major to select. I want to avoid taking unnecessary classes that will just waste my time.

A little background; I have a BA Social Services degree but am currently working in the business world as an accounts receivable manager. I am attending Webster University (out of Missouri) and am currently in their MS Finance program. However, I am not 100% sure I want to only have a Finance degree and am considering switching to their MBA program since I am only in my third class. I do not have a clear direction as far as a career goes at this point. I enjoy numbers and business (not sales at all) but want the degree that will open the most doors in the long run. I want to make a nice salary and don't want to back myself into a limited corner with finance. How do these two degrees compare and what type of jobs are available with an MBA, even though I do not have an undergrad business degree. How do the salaries compare for each degree. I appreciate any and all advice.

The sole object of mine being in this field was to create professional sounding audio mix, but I’ve got chances to learn and polish other aspects of post production sound from my own experience. As there is no professional mastering studio in Pakistan, in recent years, I have shown that one can master 24-bit professionally mixed song in home studio, yielding a practical way for mastering in fully equipped studio. I have also been communicating for the past several years with engineers from US, Brazil, Pakistan and country like India, to know what they think about my work and I have received unbelievable remarks from engineers like ***** ****** and Grammy Award winning engineer ******* **** are the names of the few.

In the future, I look forward to expanding my creative vision in the worlds of music and sound. Reaching new heights and breaking new grounds, I will always try my best to be on the cutting-edge of music and sound.
