I am in high school, but also talking a class at junior college which is 4 units. High school credits are 5 per semester. i was wondering how these compare. 1 semester of my college class is equivelent to a full year of a high school, but that is all I know.

I would try to go with the college credits. H.S. credits may or may not be accepted at the college you go to. But credits from a college are worth more, and you know that the college will accept it.

It sounds like at your school, a credit is something like one credit per course. In college, depending upon whether your school is on the quarter or semester system, most courses are 3 or 4 units (also called credits at times) per semester. Both have to do with how much classroom time was spent on the course.
