An undergraduate degree is a bachelor's degree, usually a Bachelor of the Arts or Bachelor of the Sciences.

A post-graduate degree is a Ph.D or a "doctorate." Individuals who hold doctorates are to be addressed as "Dr." even though they are not licensed to practice medicine.

A graduate degree is a master's degree, usually a Master of the Arts, Master of the Sciences, Master of Business Admin., etc. That usually comes AFTER one receives a Bachelor's degree.

Some people do extremely well in college that they skip the master's degree and go right on in to the doctorate.
