What are the advantages and disadvantages in getting a medical degree from India? (obviously its a whole hell of a lot cheaper which is why i'm genuinely considering the idea)

I have lived my whole life in the U.S. and truly want to go into the medical field. However, I don't want to go into huge debt. If I go to a medical school in India and get my degree there, would I still be considered just as equally in getting a job when I come back to the U.S. compared to those who got their degrees from an American medical school?

You need to be sure that medical courses from one country will be accredited or accepted into another country.

Another factor; Indian students join the MBBS course staight away after high school unlike their American counterparts who first finish a four-year Bachelor degree.
