You learn a broad range of topics (finance, marketing, operations, communications, management, accounting, statistics), including case studies so you can see the issues in a "real" setting. Much of the MBA experience is developing leadership and teamwork abilities--you've got to get along with a whole bunch of people all who want to be in charge. That's why most good MBA programs require several years of work prior to entry--makes for a much more fulfilling experience. It's not "grown-up" undergraduate school--it's very intense.
