say you took a class where the core of your grade was turning in projects. some dude in your class asks if you can give him/her the projects. you say no at first. the person is persistent enough that he/she offers you money for the projects. what do you say?

How would a retired computer analyst do in graduate school? Would a 61 year old with conservative attitudes have a fair chance of being successful?

I had a Tourette's episode in class & the university was going to expel me for disorderly conduct. I explained to them that it's involuntary & hard to control & they said I should leave the classroom before the tics/outbursts come out. I tried to leave before, but it didn't work. As I ran out the classroom, the outburst came out & everyone saw.

***& for you narrow-minded fellas, no I'm NOT making excuses & yes this is the WHOLE story!

Ok, I am in my second year at the University of Memphis and I was staying at a dorm my first semester but that didn't work out (My roommate was smoking crack and weed in my room and the cops caught him and he didnt get kicked out so I moved back home). The thing is that I am basically cutting myself off from my parents because of personal problems and I have to move into an apartment. However, I have a car note and bills that I have to pay along with the rent and utilities. My dad makes an *** load of money so I was really limited on how much I could get from federal loans the first year but now Im moving out I dont have his help. Does that mean I can get more money from fed loans or what? I am at a loss for what to do and I have to be out by Jan. 1st. I have NO IDEA what needs to be done and this is without a doubt the worst holiday season of my freaking life... If anyone has sugestions about other loans I could get or anything please help me out.

Thanks,
Grant

What do you do when you have a problem with an instructor in college? I'm taking intro to microcomputers, which is just learning MS Office 2007, and the teacher has been giving me problems about an assignment. I turned in the assignment and she gave me a 0/100 for it. I went to my advisor and told her, then after going back to class the teacher seemed all upset over this. Apparently she got into a little bit of trouble. At least that's what she said. I turned in my assignment again and it wasn't until the next day that she told me that I turned in the wrong assignment. I know this is wrong. I turned in the same assignment that the rest of the class turned in and she still will not give me the grade I deserve.

This is my Thanksgiving vacation and it really pisses me off that I have to worry about this grade I have throughout it.

Wtf am I suppose to do?

I just started grade 10 and I am suddenly really interested in university. I want to work extrememly hard to get into a great universtity. I did really badly in Jr. high though. I barely got into pure classes. Will that effect my entrance to a good university or do they not look at your Jr. high marks?

I was in Air Force ROTC, but i was medically diqualified from the Air Force due to a history of depression. I don't know what else I can do with my Political Science degree other than deliver pizza, and I don't want to go into teaching. I'm wondering if it is worth it to stay in school, considering there isn't much else besides the military.

I've always wanted to go to MIT or any of the Ivy League colleges.I really want to study there but I'm not sure of exactly what course to do, I'm only 13 years old so I have about 5 years till graduation.I'd like to know what I can do in the next 5 years so I can prepare myself. What I should focus on, any extra curricular activities, etc. Till now my grades have been A's and B's.
It would be nice if those who have gone to these colleges might share their experience.
Thanks!

For a college application it asks, "Are your parents separated or divorced?" and then has three choices: yes, no, or N/A.

Which do I choose? They never divorced, but they're certainly not living together anymore. Does a death count as "separation"?

Ok so I graduated with over $11K of debt, which isnt all that much, and got a bunch of jobs making like 7.50$ an hour... I look back and hey I could have learned how to fix cars or something and went to work in 6 months instead of wasting 5 years of my life reading books in that glorified high school. I would have had all those earnings, I could have started investing in a home, wouldnt have had debts. College is a bunch of crap.
