I just wanted an opinion about Cal State Northridge and Cal State LA. Hows the campus life? Especially housing on campus? How are the professors? The extracurricular activites? The surrounding city? Any current student, alumni, or even future student's opinion would be very helpful.

I have taken intro to statistics 1 twice before I passed it and now I am trying to pass intro to ststistics 2 for the second time and things are not looking good. The free tutoring my school offers is worse than the classes, none of the stat teachers speak english. I know people who have gotten private tutors but I cannot afford $60 an hour on top of tuition. I need to pass the class for my major but I just don't know what to do, I just don't understand it. Please help.

I want to achieve excellence not only in the classroom, but in extracurricular, leadership, and service activities. I would also like advice on how to study effectively, improve my memory, and become well-read and well-versed in the world around me. Not only my education is very important to me, but so is my career aspirations: I wish to become a medical doctor. Thank you in advance.

I have seen some (very expensive) weekend GRE classes, and I wonder what people's experience has been with them.

What is another way of saying " I pursued an internship.."?
Is " I procured an internship.." alright?
Is there another better phrase I can use?
I already used the word "pursued" in a different paragraph and I don't want the letter to look so repetitive.

This letter might mean a lot for my admission to law school and I really don't want to mess it up.

Thank you so much for your answers and help. =)

I'm an almost straight "A" high school student in all honors classes (a B+ in honors english) and I was wondering if it would be possible to become a pharmacist AND an animal trainer or if that would be too much to strive for at one time.

I had considered becoming a GRADS teacher in Ohio. For those of you who do not know what GRADS is, it is a program in the schools for teens who are pregnant, young mothers, and fathers. The teacher helps guide the teenager with information and support. They also try to keep the kids from having more babies at that age. Anyway, since it's not a typical teaching role, like math or english, I just wondered what the degree would be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

In my group, everyone hates everyone and our project is tommorow. We've blocked eachother on msn and it would seem it spawns because i've been testy lately and my group member who already annoys me made it worse.

I know the project is good, but I want us to get along. Any ideas that i could do to help patch the wounds so to speak?

Pep-talk or what? Ideas?

I dropped a few classes and it is not calculated in my GPA; however, it shows in my transcript that I've dropped some courses. How will this affect my admittance to pharmacy?
How will the admissions view me? Does it make me look bad?
Please help!
Thanks.

Hello again,
Another question about theses. How would you approach a professor? I mean there are some posted thesis topics and a lot of them are open to suggestions too. So if I wanted to reply to a posting, should I email them? or find out where their office is and their office hours and go talk to them? or .... and what do they require from a student? I mean I'm pretty sure they don't accept everyone, so what do they look for? Do they set it out so that its a doable task within the time limit?

Thanks,
