By the time you graduate from college that will be long past and behind you. Go to school, get your degree, dont worry about the past, just think of the future

go to college. i am the same age as you and i failed out of a 4 year university last spring and now i am back at a community college. you have an easy chance getting in to 4 year college than i do. you should go back to school because its goign to better your life in so many ways. at least you will be able to tell people you graduated and you are trying to fix the mistakes in your life and by the time you graduate the felony will be in the past. i know the only thing they ask for a felony is for financial aid. LAst year they made it that people with a felony can now recieve financial aid. so you should have no problem.

you are already at a HUGE disadvantage with the felony. unfortunately, i know. you might want to consider learning a trade like welding or something. alot of colleges offer non-degree programs- certificate training. the comm. coll. where i live has a program called "quick programs for a career-quickjobs" more bad news- most financial aid programs will turn you down if you have a felony. i am an rn and did something dumb a few years back- it just caught up with me, and now i cant even get hired at the goddam grocery store.
if you have office skills, some temp agencies may give you a chance. good luck! you are going to need it.

Rob,

It will be very hard to get a job after being convicted of a felony, let alone robbery! I'm sure you'll find job somewhere.

It's never too late to go to college, and you are not too old by any means!!! There are so many people that have gone to college at much more older ages and have been successful, and, at your age you would never be considered too old!!!
