Even if you have a 4.0 GPA, will not get you into Harvard now days. You have to be well rounded. You have to be involved in a lot of extracurrecular activies, such as clubs, sports, employment.

YES. Unless if you've done something so spectacular and unique and was so sucessful at it that you won an international title or something..... or if you're really really rich, famous and had parents/ grandparents/ great grandparents who went there.......

(with those exceptions, you still need at least mediocre grades...)
