Speaking as a college professor, let me tell you that those general education classes, while boring to you DO have an important purpose.
The biggest complaint I've heard from employers is the lack of critical thinking skills from students. Well those general ed classes help improve these!
How? By making you think in different ways, and presenting info in a variety of ways, and that's really what college is designed for.

I don't know the course titles of your general education classes, however, I'd like to tell you something. Such required courses have long been researched/reflected by those eminent scholars/professors for the sake of good, solid foundation for your university education and beyond. It's also one of the academic essences that would definitely shape you to pursue higher wisdom. Take care.
