I want to achieve excellence not only in the classroom, but in extracurricular, leadership, and service activities. I would also like advice on how to study effectively, improve my memory, and become well-read and well-versed in the world around me. Not only my education is very important to me, but so is my career aspirations: I wish to become a medical doctor. Thank you in advance.

The most important thing is to have an inquisitive mind. You want to become well-read and well-versed? As soon as you have a question about a subject, research it. Read everything you can get your hands on, from the daily news, to fiction, to your college textbooks. While you're doing so ask yourself how this relates to other things that you've read. Does it have an effect on some other event in history? What is the scientific basis behind it? Does it prove or disprove something else you've read or believed? By doing this, you develop a more flexible mind that can more easily remember things because they fit in the context of your world.

The same goes for what you learn or hear in the classroom. Don't just copy down and regurgitate answers (although that's a start). Think into the whys and wherefores of a concept. Try and understand the meaning behind what you've just learned. Think about how it applies in your life and what you want out of it. Then make sure that you refer back to it at some point in your studying. Imput the information, assess, reevaluate, and see if you remember it. Only by understanding the information will you remember it effectively.

In terms of leadership and service activities, the way to achieve excellence is to find something that you're passionate about. It's all well and good to objectively want to save the whales, but if you don't believe in a concept with your heart and soul, you won't put your full effort into it. Find things that bother you, trouble you, intrigue you, or that make you think. Think about what you can do to change that situation. In the words of Dr. Tim Laurenheizer, "Imagine what isn't there." and then go out and find a way to create it. Join a service organization. Volunteer to lead a project. Create your own project. The trick is to make it yours and to put all your passion into doing it and making it happen.

in case you assume to be spoonfed and characteristic someone write your essay for you, I dont get why you're even in college. No offense, yet college scholars favor to do their own artwork. you're literally not in first grade. soliciting for help is effective yet asking someone to jot down your essay for you isn't. boost up and do your human being artwork. as a way to do properly in college you ought to have self discipline and motivation.Doesnt look like you've any of that.
