In my group, everyone hates everyone and our project is tommorow. We've blocked eachother on msn and it would seem it spawns because i've been testy lately and my group member who already annoys me made it worse.

I know the project is good, but I want us to get along. Any ideas that i could do to help patch the wounds so to speak?

Pep-talk or what? Ideas?

Treat it like a job, a work-group on an actual job. Focus on what needs to get done. You don't have to be friends, but you do need to communicate. If you keep everything professional and focused on the project at hand it should work out.

After the project is handed in, the pressure should subside--then it will be easier to be friendly again. If this group will have to work together on future projects, use the down time before the next project to discuss the problems and make plans for next time. Assigning roles for each project can be helpful (meeting arranger, task manager, discussion leader, etc.)

Good luck!

I would tell your teacher or professor what the problem is because you didnt quite tell us what happened that caused you not to like the people in your group. But a pep talk would definitely work like tell the group members " we really have to get over our own personal issues with each other and just act professional and get the project done, the sooner we get the project done the better" And see what happens

The operating word is "Tomorrow"

Are you going to throw in the towell or produce something on your own? This is Sunday night, too late for excuses and reconcilliation. Stay up as late as it takes and do as best a job as you can alone.
And next time start off right away, with a team leader, a definitive breakdown of individual tasks and get the job done efficiently. Every one can pitch in then, and learn what team-work is.

okay people all of you are being immature... why don't you try talking to all of them and asking them how do you feel about each other and then ask them what should all of you do so that you may get along with each other.... and before you get into a group project assign roles okay that will lessen the rivalry and hunger for fame... because i think your group is fighting because some of you or most of you whats to have the credit at praises..

I think you've got the right idea. Work is work- you all want a good grade on this. Get everyone together for food - everyone loves to eat. Then hack it out. Or, you could be the go between, gathering their work and put it all together.

"You don't like me, and I don't like you. But this is an important project, and in life you're going to have to work with people you don't like. So suck it up everyone and lets get this done."

I'm assuming the project is about done, if not then maybe compartmentalize, give everyone an independant task and assign one person to read it over to ensure it flows.
Alternativly go to the prof and pray for sympathy.
