I have got accepted to the Univ of Md, i currently go to another univ in md, and could transfer there as a sophomore. The thing is that i do like my school and its nice and i like its programs. I plan to double major in theatre and journalism. And i do know the UMD is a well known named school than the one i go to now.....
But like im kinda worried to transfer, i mean UMD is a lottttt bigger school than i go to now, my school is a medium sized school. And im like soooo confused right now on what to do.
Sooo can somebody tell me about UMD thanks:)

My first choice school is Boston University and my second choice is University of Connecticut. If I go to BU (which is very expensive), my parents will pay half, but even after the financial aid package I got, I will wind up with over $60,000 in student loans. Is this worth it? BU is ranked 57th in the nation and UCONN is 68th. I don't know exactly what program I want to go into yet.

Hi,

I need to take distance, college level 300 or above, classes in history. These type of classes are for junior or senior level classes and are not usually offered by community colleges. Are there schools that offer such classes for students who are not residents of the state the college is in? The classes can be web or mail based.

thanks

I'm a 2nd year LLB Law student after which I then plan to complete a LLM or MA.

Originally I wanted to be a solicitor however I love looking at the more academic areas of Law rather than the practical elements. I want a job that would best suit my legal training. I love presenting to others and working on projects. Any ideas?

UCSB is a UC, very nice campus, social life, nicer dorms (they are actually available), but is there an actual business major that employers will hire?

Cal Poly is a poly school, more conservative ( a plus for me), good (excellent from what i have read) job placement, learn by doing..

I would be fine with going to ucsb for a year then transfering but isnt transfering into cal poly really hard?

Thanks for any info.

i started an ma in sept at the same college i studied @ for my ba. i graduated with a ba in 2003. i'm not enjoying it at all. love what i am learning but am not enjoying the classes (difficult classmates etc) also not happy with the way the course is run and how the college has changed since my ba study.

shall i

a) talk to my course leader even tho i know nothing will change and sher herself can't do much
b) transfer to another uni which may be difficult with the overlap of courses
c) quit altogether- this option is not tempting @ all. i never give up and would hate to quit

please help, sorry if all this info is a bit long!
