Any advice would be helpful..
Should I start to study for the course as from now itself?.. I'm going to do Engineering..I'll be leaving home and going abroad for my higher studies.. I'm a bit worried..

No, don't study any course in advance. What you really need to be doing is investigating the environment where you will live and things you will need to support your daily activities.

Find a chat board of the university and get to know the atmosphere.

Personally, I hated university, and left after a week. However I wouldn't start studying now, you'll probably just find yourself repeating all of it when you get to uni anyway, which will have mean you wasted your time. Just remember that wherever you go, everybody will be knew and about 99 percent won't know anybody else so start conversations with people around you whenever you can.
