Well, with those scores, I doubt you'll have a problem getting in to most universities. Some people think they're a waste of time, but I would suggest going to a community college near you. Most usually have a few classes that help students figure out what they want to do, what major fits them best, the school best for that major, how to search and apply for colleges, careers you can get with that major, etc. I took a class like that and it helped alot. Many people think that community colleges are a waste of time and that they're just like high school; if that were to be true, why is it that so many classes taken at communitiy colleges are able to get transfered to most all universities? There's just as much work and time needed as in a major university.
If you don't want to do that, then try talking to counselors at your school and see what they have to say. Or some universities and colleges have career websites that have career tests you can take to help figure out what you want to do. Also, there really is no need to have to go into a university without having a major picked out. Most don't require you having one unitl you start your junior year.
Hope this helped some
Good luck

You may not see the point and that college are just for some people - but you'd be surprised what you can't do without that degree. You need to take an assessment test and really look and see where you skills are and what you have an interest in doing and see if it's realistic, because whether you're ready or not, more responsibilities in life are coming, so head off to the CDC (career development center) instead of choosing to hang w/your friends and really start looking for what interests you. Because at that stage, to choose if you go college or not would be an extremely premature decision. You don't even know what you're interested in yet, but the best thing would be to go to the CDC and see what jobs might interest you.

There are many books on the subject- try going to your local library, and searching through the college majors books, the job books, and the hobby books.
You don't have to pick a major right away, but it's nice to know if you would prefer a school that leans towards accounting vs engineering vs music vs medicine vs film vs mortician work.
Don't put off going to school if you can't find anything that piques your interest though- once you don't go, you'll never go back.
Also study the job trend in your area or the area where you will most likely live after graduation. Are they in need of medical assistants. Are more banks moving in? Is your library becoming self-service so librarians will be out?

Find yourself....some people know in highschool, most find their way in university, some way after university. I still don't know what to do with my life...I am 25, have a great job, but I don't think it's what I want, it's what I went to school for, but I am not sure it's waht I want.
My advice, go to university into an arts program, and take as many different courses as you want.....you'll find yourself, it'll take time. DO NOT, DO NOT get a job before university, you'll see the money and you won't think about going.

Those scores should get you into most colleges.
What are your interests, talents, skills, best academic subjects. Choose something from among these and try it out. You can always change your major later on if you loose interest.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you go to college start out as undeclaired major. Take some core classes and find your passion.
Most who start with one thing in mind change their major half way through anyway.

Depends on what you are good at. Me I got a 1290 on my SAT Math and Critical Reading, So I am looking into engineering. Stick to your strenghths. Writing - Journalist; Math - Engineering; You don't want to be stuck with something that you don't want to do just because it pays well.

If you have the option to go to college take it and go. you'll regret it later if you want to and dont. Besides you can go and you can figure out a major later when you decide what you want to do.....
