Very glad! I went right out of highschool and didn't do so well, but I went back after the military. I remember my step-father saying your just not the college type! Now, after an Associates, Bachelors and Masters in progress, I think it is fair to say he was wrong.
I think COLLEGE is for everyone, I just hate seeing or hearing people say college is just not for you. Why not? Are you saying I am too stupid to make it, or just not worthy? College is for everyone and anyone who wants to make something better for their life. You don't have to be super smart, but as long as you work hard you can make it.
Think about how great the world would be if we all had an education. Some people get stressed about how hard it is and drop out, others don't have the money and some here its not for them and never even try. Let's try and stay positive, college is for everyone and should be something to strive towards by all.

To say that college is important is a bunch of bull. I graduated college two years ago and can't find a job. I have applications for different places and have my resume on sites like monster, usa jobs, and career builder, but I still can't get a job.
Three weeks ago I interviewed for a job that only paid 10 dollars an hour and it was full time. The people knew that I didn't want the job but were nice enough to interivew me. Now I applied for another job but it only pays about 21,000 a year. Imagine, that, a college graduate only making 21,000 a year. A horrible reality I'm facing.
I keep on asking myself is college worth it when I'm struggling and still living at home when other people are living on their own or are married and have started their own lives.
I guess I'm going to have to start at the bottom and work my way up, like all the people who only have a high school diploma. There are days to where I wish I wasn't even born. Then I wouldn't have to be living in this horrible life and struggling through it.
So to answer your question, no, I'm not glad I went to college. I wasted five years when I could have been working and making more money than what I'm making now.

I wish I had gone much sooner than I did but alas, had I gone right after high school, I would not have been in the right mindset and probably would have quickly dropped out like most of my friends did. College isn't for everyone, and there are still other options for those people.

Yes, I cannot imagine try to get by only make $10 an hour. A college education allows me and my family to live comfortably.

40 years later after I had my children and wanted to get back into the work force, I still had that degree and got a job very quickly:)

Of direction. The cause you cannot uncover a role is because of the dire monetary occasions nobody can. I could come to be much more certified to deliver myself a larger threat whilst the economic climate turns. Thanks Bill
