Ok, I know people usually say its a "would you like fries with that?" major, but I really find it fascinating and would like to continue pursuing it. I don't plan on attending graduate school, so I don't know what I could do with a Bachelors. Anyone have any experience with a sociology/psychology degree?

I am not good in physics. I don't understand the quantum mechanics. my knowledge in it is limited to Newton Einstein.

Also I thought that to get in to med school you could undergrad in anything you wanted ( science would of course help) but recently this guy at the college said that you "HAVE" to major in pre-med. is that true?

By tough, i mean Like Oxbridge and Cambridge.

I was wondering becuase i am trying to decide what universities to goto when i apply for them next year. I am currently doing my AS levels Being Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Biology. And i do A number of extra curricular activites. DoE Gold, Scouting, Gym, Dog Agility, Volenteering at loal charity shop.

But i wanted to know realistically how to increase my chance of getting into the best posible uniersity i can get into.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. And what other people did in order to get into their university.

Thank you.

I have a real talent for languages, and would like to study it at uni. The problem is, though, I don't know which uni would be the best for studying languages. So please tell me!

Also, which course?

Thanks in advance, and no stupid or sarcastic answers. If you're not going to answer my question, go away!

MBA in England?
What I should choose?

1. An MBA in an accredited university, whose cost is around 16.000 pounds or ..
2. An MBA in an NON accredited university but whose cost is 30% less thant the accredited one.

If I choose the option 1, I will have to work in anything to suported myself and my living expenses in London.

If i choose the second one, I could live more comfortably at the begining while a get a job.

Im Latin and I would like to work there for a couple of years after the MBA .Is the University and its reputation a real factor to get a job there?

1. How do you feel about college?
2. What do you do while in class (participate or do nothing)?
3. Do you have any classes in computer labs? Do you dink around on the internet more than pay attention to the activities?
4. How do you feel about your teachers?
5. Do you feel that college is a waste of time, or that certain classes waste your time?

I just want some general opinions. Community college students are more than welcome to answer! This isn't aimed at just state university students.

(I have a reason for this question, but I just want to see what people say right now.)

Thanks!

I received 3 D's during my freshman year at my college. (1 D+ and 2 D's) This gives me a current cumulative GPA of 2.43. But I want to change my major to psychology, which requires that I have at least a 2.75 GPA. During my first undergrad year I took courses like chemistry, anthropology, and calculus, which were really boring and difficult. I regret having taken them and not dropping the classes afterward. How stupid of me, since I thought that dropping courses was a sign of weakness. But what is done is done. What do you guys think I can do to raise my GPA by at least a margin of .34? I calculated the numbers and found out that I need to get 1 B, 1 B+, and 3 A's in my 5 courses this semester or better in order to become a psychology major. Next year I'll be a junior in college. I thought that 1 year would suffice to bring back up my GPA but I was wrong due to unexpected circumstances (my professor of last year suddenly changed my NR "not recorded" grade to a huge "D". If not...
