So my friend has this issue going on right now. Her and this guy are friends at school, but it turns out my friends ex is very jealous. I guess her ex came up to the school to see if my friend was there. He seen the two [my friend and the guy], and my friend tried to talk to him because he was mad at the fact he seen them together. The guy slowly walked away because he didn't want nothing to do with it. Then all of a sudden, the ex backed his car into the guy. The guy was fine because he walked away from the scene. Now the guy is pressing charges and is not speaking to my friend.
Now my friend is telling me, she talked to the police, and she might get expelled from the University, and if she does get expelled, she would not be able to apply to any CSUs or UCs. and they might charge her wit conspiracy.

Basically what I'm trying to ask is, is that possible for a student to get expelled from this type of situation? She wasn't apart of this, and she didn't know her ex was going to come

I would like to take this course but I have a few concerns. I work full time and spend more than two hours a day commuting. Have you taken it? How much time do you need to study per day? I have a qualification more or less equivalent to an International Bacchalaureate in humanities and studied psychology at university before (but did not finish it...) do you think it will help me? Any advice would be really appreciated.

My future career goals are to enlist in the Peace Corps and work in education either in academic advising or promoting higher ed with youth. Any recommendations or advice?

I'm looking to transfer to a Christian college in New York. I am currently majoring in Biblical Studies and would like to double major in Music. My current school has a horrible music department. I'm looking for a school that provides a music major, preferably with the ability to focus in performance, along with a good Theology department.

Most schools I've been able to find seem ultra-conservative, which surprises me for New York. I was looking at Nyack and part of their "moral code" is that you won't engage in "Social Dancing". Now, to be honest I don't dance that much but that has to be a reflection on the way they approach theology and if it is then I'm not impressed.

I hope someone can give me a bit of direction.

Statistics show that more than 50% of medical students are in debt after completing medical school. I'm very passionate about becoming a doctor but I'm terrified about how to overcome money problems. I was thinking about obtaining a part time job but won't that be hard juggling work and very grueling schoolwork? any suggestions ?

Hi,
I know that for North American law schools you need an under-grad degree first, but a friend told me that in Europe, you can get into law school straight out of High School? Is this true? If so, do you have to take an LSAT? Can the degree be used for law practice in N.A?

Thank you for your input!

I have looked over every occupation known to man. I'm not interested in teaching though I love art. I could work in an art museum but it's very very far from me as I live in a small town. But again it's not something I REALLY love. I love animals. Not wild animals but domesticated. And I don't know if I have the knowledge to go to college to be a veterinary technician. Don't they learn hard maths and sciences? My brain is better at the language arts side of the spectrum. Spelling, reading, and I could do well to brush up on my grammar. But again I don't want to teach. I don't care how much money I make as long as I am happy doing what I'm doing but I'm so unsure as to what to do. Would it be stupid to get a regular job and take some time to decide? By the way I am seeing a Psychologist because my self-esteem is quite low and I don't get very much social interaction. Any advice on what to do would be helpful.

I did a personality career fit test and found out tt the area of communications would fit me best and second best would be business. However, I am not confident to just major in communications so I intend to do a double degree in comm and business. However, which specialization would be suitable? I do like to interact with people but mostly I would rather do my work independently as I like to be in control of my own work. So would it be marketing or management?

I'm at a second chance high school. It's on a community college campus. I didn't get kicked out of any schools, but I decided to come to the school I go to because they offer high school kids an Associate degree from the college at the same time as earning your high school diploma. They pay for it, and it takes one extra year of high school. So basically I am getting my associates degree for free in one year instead of two. I want to transfer to a university after I get my associates and finish with my bachelors and then get my masters right after.

I really am interested and about 95% sure I want to get my bachelors degree in human resources management. The school I go to doesn't offer it though. Would it work if I got my associates degree in Business management and then finished my bachelors in human resources? Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.

Also: Anyone here who works in HR's or has a degree in it, please tell me anything about it you are willing to share. Thanks :)

I'm applying to a Masters program for Occupational Therapy. One of the questions on the application says, "Describe the ways you will contribute to Diversity (according to the school's Diversity Statement). Some of the things mentioned in the statement include overcoming personal, family and/or economic disadvantage. OK, I CAN RELATE TO THIS.

I also have bipolar disorder that totally messed up my life at one time, and I am medication dependant. BUT I am responsible and have been balanced and successful for the past 10 years up until recently, when I was laid off from my job.

I think all this Diversity cr*p is BS, and I hate to have to answer this question at all, but if I have to answer it, I figure I might as well lay the whole load on them.

My question is: Should I disclose the bipolar? It really set me back quite a bit years ago, I overcame it, and I want to help others get their life back on track, so that's why I want to go into this field.

What do you guys think?
