CSUN- dorm or apartment?

Hi, I'm transferring to CSUN this summer, and I'm trying to decided whether or not to live in the dorms or get an apartment. Any adivce or tips?

Dorms because you'll save money on paying for utilities and the only expense you'll have is phone and cable since internet is standard in most dorm rooms. See if your college offers on campus apartments, but you may have to be a at certain class standing to get campus apartments. Dorms are ok but get a single much better than having a roommate you have more privacy, costs a little more but worth it.
