I did a personality career fit test and found out tt the area of communications would fit me best and second best would be business. However, I am not confident to just major in communications so I intend to do a double degree in comm and business. However, which specialization would be suitable? I do like to interact with people but mostly I would rather do my work independently as I like to be in control of my own work. So would it be marketing or management?

If communication is your thing, I would recommend marketing over management. You would have the opportunity to craft many communications, be creative, and work independently.

Management would put you in a situation where your communication skills would be beneficial, but as a manager, you are always working with others with less control over your situation because of the involvement of others.

Good luck. You are wise to be thinking about this in a structured way.
