Than the rest of college kids who don't have to "buy" their way into popularity? I think the ones I knew in college were all good examples of frat boys who were in need of a social life and had no other way to attain getting girls.

I am just finishing up my associate's degree with University of Phoenix. They only offer a BS in Psychology or Human Services/Management. The latter covers courses dealing with counseling and social work but also management. I don't feel I need the business classes. Should I look at other online schools for a counseling program?? I am so lost......please help, thank you

Let's say I'm a junior with a 3.6 GPA. If I can improve my GPA by next year, do you think I can get into Stanford, Brown, Boston College, MIT, Columbia, University of Chicago, and Berkeley?

i have not alot of extra-curricular activities but that might change when i get car. I am at a school that offers a good handful of honors, AP, and IB courses, but i am only interested in the classes that, well, interest me. I have alot of will-power towards business, marketing, advertising, and e-commerce.

I want to learn film making at the UCLA and have until recently thought the only place a person of my status could learn is at the NYFA. As I am British and cannot affored to live in USA as of yet. The UCLA state that tuition fees are identical to that for residential fees. They have also stated that i can apply to the SLM Financial for a loan. How does this proces work and what are the chances of me getting to the UCLA?

I know pre-med isn't an official major but more schools offer it than biomedical science. Does medical schools accept one over the other? Is the coursework similar?

Also, would being in fashion school effect my chances of getting into med school?

Classes are getting harder, and I've already completed around 60 credit hours at the end of this semester. I'm supposed to be applying to my major's course program this fall, but I'm just lacking motivation, feeling kinda burnt out, especially knowing that I still have about 2 1/2 years to go. How do I stay motivated?

I graduated from a good uni with Ba hons degree in music. However, since leaving i dont find that anyone takes me seriously. I have 10 top GCSE's and 4 top A levels that i worked hard for, so why cant agencys help me? Yes, im moaning, but its really disheartening. I realize if i had a business degree i would probably get further, but just want to know. If you were an employer and i showed you my cv which heavily showed my music experineces, would you ignore my cv?

I am applying for lots of teaching jobs and also an MA in Decadent Literature. My real passion lies in literature and I've found that teaching leaves very little scope for this. I am also applying for a scholarship to do the MA but it would mean that I'd be skint again and, if I didn't get offered a PhD, I'd also have to do the NQT year after my masters'.

I have to admit that teaching doesn't inspire me like I thought it would and I find the whole training and prospect of doing the NQT year rather patronising.

I really don't want to be stuck without any money and no career prospects though. What should I do?
