It is someone who is in college (university) and has not yet received a university degree.

The term is used to destiguish them grom graduate Students -- who already have a bachelor's degree and are going for a graduate degree (MS, MA, PhD, JD. MD, MBA, etc)

there r 3 levels.intermediat,graduation and masters.every one who has done intermediat and not yet graduatio is called under graduate.
