My first semester of my second year on the LLB i got 82,65,64 and 56. Are these the sort of grades i need to keep getting for a 2:1. How do you calculate it?

I think the usual university mark structure is:
70% 1st
60-69% 2:1
50-59% 2:2
40-49% 3rd
<40% fail
So depending on the weighting of your exams I'd say you are on track for a 2:1...
but to make sure, check with your tutor or the admin office in your department (mine at least, use to be pretty helpful)!

I would say grade B all the way would easily get you a 2:1 if not a 1st! All the best and just DO your best
