Hi I'm interested in doing MBA thro' Distance Education.
I'm confused, whether to take General Management or Technology Management.

Which would have better propects in the future?.
FYI..I'm an Engineer in an Automobile Company.

GPA required for admission
SAT/ACT scores required for admission
Student-teacher ratio
Fraternities/sororities
scholarships offered through the university

I am student from India.I am planning to go for masters in computer science for fall 2007.There are some universities in USA which not at all ask for GRE.They just ask only TOEFL.Therefore I am not writing GRE.After getting i20 of such universities I am going to appear for visa.If visa counsellor ask me for gre score I am going to explan that gre is not required for these universities.What should I do if counsellor is not satisfied with my answer or what documents should I carry with me to satisfy counsellor that gre is not required for such universities.Is it true because of just not writing GRE visa counsellors hesitates to give visas.Also ETS has stopped gre registration in India from March 2007 to August 2007.

I'm an Engineering student in a private university.I did well in my first year, but in the second year, my result started to decrease semester by semester until i was terminated from the university.I appealed for the reinstatement and they reactivated my status and accepted me back.Now I'm in the third year, my result is still getting worse. So now i wonder,should I change to another faculty that i'm interested in (that will make me spend another 4 years).or should I go on studying in this faculty of engineering and keep trying to do my best and appeal again and again if i happen to fail again?

1) i don't want to extend my study in engineering for too long. i've been in this faculty for 3yrs out of 4, but i need another 4 yrs or more if i keep on failing like this)

2)i want to change to another faculty which i think i can get good result,but i have to spend another 4 yrs) FYI: this faculty is abt designing,films and animations, and sort of)

please gimme suggestions.thanx

As if now there are no dates available for GRE in India, can Indian student write GRE exam from other countries like Singapore or Bangladesh or Sri lanka or other neighbouring countries to India? If yes what are the documents they need to carry other than passport and GRE ticket?

My next question is, Do you think seeing the caotic situation of the Indian students ETS will open some dates in India?

I am a Law student in India, in the third of studying. I want to take up the JD program from a US University. I know that I have to give LSAT and Toefl for that, but I do not know any other requirements. Can you please provide some more knowledge about these tests, or any other test which I am required to face?

i know a proffessor with a phd in religion who has a 2.5 gpa (C+ average) and other students in school who have bachelor degrees with 2.0 or 2.5 gpa's and they are totally satisfied with it. some students i know think that having this gpa means that they are dumb because the average mark everyone is supposed to obtain in university is a 3.0 and above. yet i find that a lot of students who value high gpa's and obtain them lack street smarts and they come off as condescending people to people who have lower gpa's. can anyone explain to me why society has high expectations about academic marks and what it will mean to the people who are in the lower gpa position?

I'm currently a wildlife management major at a 2 year school, and I plan to eventually transfer and get my BS in that or something similar (conservation biology, earth sciences...). I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for schools with good environmental programs. (I have tried the online school search sites).
