Which would have better propects in the future?.
FYI..I'm an Engineer in an Automobile Company.

Although General Management may be better, Tech would be more interesting,,, In general you will get a little of tech and other points of interest. If you go with Tech, then it is a more specific focus. General maybe better to get a job unless you start interning... hope this helps

Since you are an engineer, you have strong experience on the technological side. So your tech experience will be on your resume. I'm not sure how many business classes you have taken in undergrad. If it is minimal, I would recommend that you do General Mgt so you can gain a strong understanding of business theories. This will balance out your tech background with a strong understanding of business.

However, if you have already been exposed to a wide range of business courses, I would recommend that you extend your understanding of Technology Mgt. However, you should avoid being pigeon holed in technology line of business.

Technology Management would be better in my opinion. While it is not as broad of an area, there is higher demand in a technological world. It ultimately is up to where you want to be. If you want a general management position or if you have a passion for technology and and would like to be immersed in it.
