You should go for an MA (Economics) and should get some specialization. In India you can do MA in Economics at www.jnu.ac.in and in Ireland you can look for http://www.ucd.ie/economics/ .

From what i know it would be valuable to look ito doing postgrad honours in economics to add mnore weight to your degree. You should talk to your student advisor about it.

get yourself a job or if u want to study further than go for either m.b.e or m.b.a
