I've been offered a job at a Country Club as a server in the dining room for lunch, dinner and for private parties that the members will be holding in their banquet room.

I want to know if I will make money in this position. I'm well aware that I will probably make below min. wage, b/c I will be receiving tips.

This is OK, I currently work at a chain resturant, so I'm use to the low pay.

What I want to know is if I will get good tips. I've heard rich people are sometimes great tippers and some don't tip at all. I've never known anyone that has worked in one, so I don't know if these claims are true or not.

Any Insight?

I live near the UIC area (Halsted and Taylor) and I was wondering if someone knew of the closest place where I could buy a bottle of the Korean wine Soju.
Thanks!

Will be there with long delay between flights. I've heard Malnati's has the best. What do you think? Especially interested in hearing from Chicagoans.

Chinese food in US never fails to dissapoint me. Why do chinese selling chinese food are so shamless when they know how to cook a better chinese food yet selling bad chinese food. They are all oily and full of msg , little meat in it , meat and veges not fresh and always served without care or love.
I cannot understand why Americans are eating it.

We have some people in the group who are under 21 and no one over 25 to vouch for them, so that ruled out Dave and Busters (Buskers?). We wanted to do something fun like that, and we wanted to have our own room or something to ourselves but not pay a lot at the same time. Any ideas?
Thanks :)
