Does anyone know of any 18 and up, clubs in Austin that do not play rap music? Or at least, not ALL rap music. I don't enjoy that type of music at all, but I really want to go to some clubs...

Is it really worth the drive. Or is there a BBQ place in town just as good or even better?

It's a Chinese restaurant.
I just needed the menu or at least certain bowls that they provide there.

We are throwing a bachelorette party for my friend and want to take her out to a fun, but chic restaurant in Austin. We want to stay away from Mexican and Italian food. We also want to keep under $40 a person. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I've been going to different places forever to get a hair cut. I want to find one person who is good so I can keep them around longer than one hair cut! Anyone have an awesome stylist they want to share?

I'm gonna be living in Austin, TX in a month - moving from The Bronx, NY - and I'm wondering what some good restaurants are in terms of service, price, and tasty delights. I know there's a chinatown there and I'm definitely gonna miss the NY chinatown's food. So, anybody have any input on the cheap but tasty?

I've seen this BBQ place on the FoodNetwork a couple of times. I know it's near Austin, but I am unsure where it's located exactly. If anyone knows please tell me, I am going on vacation to Austin next month! I LOVE BBQ! And I've heard it's the best!

For anyone who has been to Fonda San Miguel, what type of attire is typical for women? I was considering wearing a nice pair of jeans with a nice top and heels but would this be too casual? Should I wear a skirt instead? Or does it matter? Basically, I'd just like to know what types of clothes most people wear to this restaurant.

Me and my friends are planning on taking our dates on Valentines Day on a group dinner date, the problem is we have no idea where to go, we're all around 16 and 17 so it can't be like a bar or someplace thats EXTREMELY pricey but we do have a decent budget so cash isn't really that much of a problem. If yall could tell me about someplace nice around Austin or Round Rock, Texas that'd be great.

According to an article I foundin Bizjournal from September, Taco Bueno was supposed to open a restaurant at the corner of I-35 and Wonder World in San Marcos before the end of the year. I just past there a week ago and haven't even seen construction or anything that shows where it will be at that intersection. And it also stated that one was going to be put up at the intersection of South MoPac and Slaughter when the new year starts. Well, was just there yesterday and again, no construction. Emails to Bueno have gone unanswered for a long time. ANYONE have any insider info, maybe?

My senior group (12 people) are trying to find a restaurant that we can go to downtown. We'll be in formal attire, so it needs to be somewhat nice. But we want a fun restaurant as well. I've looked at some stuff in 360, but have no clue where to even start. It would also be nice if it wasn't so expensive, but we can split the meals. We're going to the trail of lights after dinner so we wanted to just grap a shuttle and ride over from the Downtown.
There is no specific cuisine that we want though I'm thinking it would be nice to go to a place where you have a relative idea of what the items on the menu really are (so basically, a steakhouse would be nice).
We also have the problem of reservations. We just decided to do this last week and we were planning on going to the Oasis, but the weather it bad. And this time of year is horable for making reservations for a group of 12 only 4 days from Christmas.
Thanks for the help!
