Me and my friends are planning on taking our dates on Valentines Day on a group dinner date, the problem is we have no idea where to go, we're all around 16 and 17 so it can't be like a bar or someplace thats EXTREMELY pricey but we do have a decent budget so cash isn't really that much of a problem. If yall could tell me about someplace nice around Austin or Round Rock, Texas that'd be great.

Depending on what type of atmosphere you want there are a lot of different choices. There is the Hyatt Recency Lost Pine Resort and Spa that is BEAUTIFUL but it outside of the city. It's an easy drive to the city though, not too far and (if you're flying) it's close to the airport too. It's very romantic and great for relaxation. It has a spa, horseback riding, golfing, kayaking, etc. There is also the Driskill, an upscale hotel on the famous 6th Street. This is great for you if you're interested in the nightlife as there are a lot of clubs and bars in that area. It's a great location in the middle of downtown but it is known for being haunted so if that kind of thing freaks you out I'd avoid it (or at least avoid reading the haunting stories). It's more of an old fashioned style hotel. There is also the San Jose hotel right on South Congress. South Congress is full of shops and the San Jose is right in the middle of it all while still being private. It's an amazing location (the website says it's one of the hippest areas in town and I'd have to agree) and only a few minutes from downtown. It's a hipper, more modern hotel.

PF Changs in the Arboretum.

Or Texas Land & Cattle either in Cedar Park by Lakeline Mall or in Austin on IH-35 just south of Hwy 290. Ask for a table by the fireplace. Excellent food, great service, and a atmosphere to die for.

Fonda San Miguel. It's a beautiful place in North Austin (the Avenues). It won't cost you more than one of the chain steak houses and the food is wonderful.

They serve big portions and family style so you don't EACH need to order. I recommend that you get 3 entrees for every 4 of you. They have GREAT food and it is a romantic atmosphere. The tiramisu is to die for.

Green Pastures. Very historic building. A bit pricy, but since you guys won't be having drinks, you could probably make your budget work. This place will definately be worth looking up their website or menu. It's got great romantic atmosphere.
