If that's what you ask yourself, El Charrito Mexican Food on 54th Ave. & Glendale has some delicious food for a very reasonable price. They have great portion sizes and even have $3.99 Daily Specials every day, all day long. The Menudo is delicous and they also have Shrimp Cocktail as well as the tastiest Micholada around. If you know of a good place, please tell me about what type of music is played, whether it's live or recorded, whether there's a cover charge, & also, if there's a "label" that fits the usual crowd (such as urban professional, latino, cowboys, bikers, etc.), are they friendly or hostile toward somebody who doesn't fit the label? I will be there in 2 weeks and would like to take my friends somewhere nice for dinner in the greater Phoenix area. Ideally, I would like something with at least some southwestern meals, but otherwise something in the new American category. I am looking for something upscale and with entrees between $20-40. Also, looking to stay away from anything that is strictly steak or seafood.

My husband birthday coming up soon and he loves steak, where would be a good place to take him for his birthday?? We live in Phoenix, Arizona. Do these places do anything special for his birthday??? I was thinking about taking him to Monti's on Mill Ave in Tempe?? I have never been there before but I have heard him bring it up before about going there as a kid.
