The Blarney Stone's a block of bluestone set into the battlements of Blarney Castle, in Ireland. It's said that those who kiss the stone (not an easy task, since you have to hang outside the castle walls by your heels to get to it) will be gifted with ease of speech and a persuasive tongue(!). Sounds pretty good to me. Personally, I've found that kissing Irish girls achieves much the same result; and they do taste much better.
