waitresses- big deal...but yesterday my bf and i had some breaded chicken wings and they were terrible...so much vinegar! and they were hard to chew..,

what do you think of their food?

Ok I moved to the Phoenix area, not long ago, Mexican restaurants abound just like Farenheit degrees, so can you recommend me a really good one, I'll take any suggestion but can you recommend one in the West Valley? Thanks

I've never had Risotto and always hear about how heavenly is. I've done some research and can't find a restaurant in Phoenix & surrounding cities that serves it. I'm looking for authentic risotto. I've seen some menus with broccoli or saffron or caper or berry risotto & the customer comments say that it's not as good as the real thing. Or -- does anyone know of any good Italian Deli's in the area that would sell it? Or -- markets? T H A N K S !

My girlfriends and I are going out tonight to paint the town red (don't worry, we're taking a taxi to and from the bar(s)!). I didn't know really where to go though, I haven't been out in a LONG time and I usually went to Graham Central Station. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

There has been a few time where the waiter drops our food or spills drinks, gets the order completely wrong (not just onions when you asked for none but the wrong dish). I had a waiter spill drinks on one in our party. How mush is a reasonable tip so that i dont look rude. Everyone knows it is our job to pay waiters. . . not their manager.

The coffee shop that I like the best closes at 10:00 PM. Sometimes (especially on the weekends) I feel like being out and reading (or writing) later than that. Are there any cool places that are open late (preferably in downtown or central phoenix) that are conducive to reading or writing?

I am a server and do a very good job. I am always pleasant with my customers and make sure their orders are accurate. I had a couple today with their daughter. They both ordered alcoholic drinks and the man ordered a steak. His wife ordered something from the kid's menu and the daughter had the same thing. She asked for cheese on their fries.

They seemed nice enough and the food came out quickly and right... I came back to check on them but the woman had gone to the restroom. I was about to leave the table when the man started asking me if it was usually this busy and blah blah. I was trying to be nice and so I answered his questions. His wife came back and gave me a dirty look so I made an exit.
When they got their bill (a whopping $32 for all of them when the average per person cost is normally $25) she started complaining about the extra 99 cents to put cheese on their french fries... When they had left I went back to find a whole dollar tip. What gives?

This is mainly for research purposes for my new novel. I've been in Phoenix in 1/05. No fast food restaurants. But good restaurants to serve great food in the Phoenix Metro area inc. Sedona, that might include lobster. Excellent opinions from tourists and Arizona residents will be great.
