You have to go into downtown Phoenix. Try My Florist. Not the most fantastic food but they have live piano player which creates the perfect dining experience. Also, Cibo, Zinc Bistro, Radio Milano, Cheuvronts. Stay away from chains. There's nothing more bland than a chain.

Buka can be romantic but i'd recomd the outdoors the night are nice maybe late picnic.
if you don't cook cater it. from a resturant near by..
thunder park is nice just enough out of town to see stars!!!

I like Abuelo's off 83ave south of Bell. It's usually pretty quiet, very pretty inside, and they serve great Mexican food for a decent price.
