We have been to Orlando many times, but we always end up eating at chain restaurants or the same type restaurants. Does anyone recommend any good priced restaurants that are not dumps? (Any American, Italian, Mexican, Cuban, Asian?)

This used to be our favorite restaurant for seafood, and the last trip they traded out the cold seafood bar with all kinds of crab, shrimp, crawfish, oysters, salmon, awesome seafood salads, and way more, and replaced about 20 feet of it with buffet style crappy fried fish. Its still good off the menu, but we were wondering if there are other places that have a casual atmosphere but excellent seafood.

I've read in the Unofficial Disney World that the atmosphere is really fun but the food was bad. Is it bad like Mcdonald's or fast food bad (which is not bad to us) or just really bad like inedible? I definately chose it for the atmosphere and it's fine if the food is just mediocre. We are on the dining plan so price is not an issue.

I saw this restaurant on the travel channel - the entire restaurant was black and white and transforms to full-color as the meal progresses but I don't remember the name and I can't find anything about it at the disney web site. Please help.

I've heard people talk about getting the DDP for free with their trip. How do I qualify for this? I've always had to pay for it. Also, is there a dollar limit to the meals. For instance could I pay out of pocket for say a $25 sit down table service meal and then use the DDP for a $100 buffet at the Grand Floridian? Any other suggestions will be appreicated as well. Thank You
