I ate there a few yers ago and didn't find the food bad. It for the most part is the typical Disney food you get when you go to one of the walk up eateries.

You know what? We go to Disney at least once a year, and out of all the places to dine, that is one of my favorites. The ribs are good, the service is great, and its a fun place. Its definitely fast food type food, but its a few notches above McDonalds for sure!
If you are lucky enough to get into the restaurant in the top of Cinderellas castle, the food is healthy, fresh, good and not too expensive. And if you have a kid between 2-10, they will be in complete awe the whole time.
At EPCOT, there are tons of places to eat, the only one I would definitely say is bad is the pub in England with fish and chips. Food is bad, service is very very slow, and they only have like three options. Dumbest servers in the whole kingdom!
Never had the "guts" to eat at Animal Kingdom.

You will be at the MGM park so I would suggest Mama Melrose instead, (reserve a table) I went into the SciFi and thought it was a overated gimic, sit in a car in a dark room with a screen playing a loop of b side SciFi movie trailers, all of this while you eat comon hambergers adn fries, nothing special but disney priced. I went to Mama Melrose have gone since and will go again, the syudios leave you more time to relax and there was seating and waiters, great basalmic salad & wood fire pizzas, pastas as well. Great food good service. I will return. Make sure to have reservations if you go out to eat at a restaurant in Disney, what I do and I dont read about others is go to any shop in the park and ask them to call the resturant for you to put your name on the list, they are happy to do it and you can spend your time looking around instead of listening for your name, Fastpass for dinning.
Enjoy luv

It is typical diner food, Disney style. Which means it is okay and really overpriced. But hey, you are on vacation so who cares. The atmosphere is really cool though. You sit in replicas of old cars that are like booths to eat in. Everyone faces forward so you can see the screen. The restaurant is dimly lit and they play reels of bad, B-rated sci-fi flicks. Think 'Attack of the Killer Zombies' or something like that. I highly recommend securing reservations as soon as you get to the park so you don't have to wait. Have fun, you will enjoy it. The site below has a menu.

I even have been there 2x and the two situations it grew to become into great food and huge environment. the 1st time i went the server grew to become into so undesirable, and that i grew to become into no longer on the eating plan. I gaver her a .10 cent tip -she grew to become into poor. I had even left my digicam in the back of and found out it top as i left so i had on the instant got here back in and went to my table, the server has merely retaining it observing it like she on no account observed a digicam in the previous. She didnt even say something, i merely took it and left. The food grew to become into extremely good nevertheless. the 2nd time we went i had the ribs and that they have got been the suitable i ever had! they have been sooo lean and all meaty, sluggish cooked in Coke too. I"m going back next month to Sci Fi and that i'm getting those ribs. the server grew to become into nice, she extremely took some p.c.. human beings in our vehicle. She additionally gave me a loose dessert b/c they now no longer had the "cookie monster" that i enjoyed the 1st time i went. the 2nd time we went the oddest component got here approximately. My bf ordered a burger sandwich and the server gently reported something approximately liver, and we had no clue what she meant. while he have been given his food he observed something slimy on his sandwich and it grew to become right into a slice of liver!! NOOOO that grew to become into no longer on the define of the sandwhich. ewww! I nonetheless dont understand what all that grew to become into approximately. I didnt get liver w/ mine. So average i think of it is great!~i eat there each and every holiday so a good distance. I wouldnt omit it! This time we are on the eating plan, and in the event that they have undesirable service, talk up and enable them to correctly known it is not ok. The 50s top Time is powerful additionally, i attempt to pass to the two. Wouldnt omit those superb ribs, i'm hoping they're nonetheless as good. have exciting!

It's not bad. It's just not remarkable. You definitely go there for the ambiance, not the food.
DO order your drinks in the souveneir glass, though. Its a couple more bucks, but those glasses have become a mainstay of my kitchen cabinet, and the "electric icecubes" that come with your drinks in those glasses are cool, too.

I go to Disney all the time, and ate there, and it wasn't bad at all. It is the usual Disney food, but I loved it.

The food at the parks are ( of course ) going to be overpriced. So i guess if it's that expensive then it should be better food. Am I right?
