Would like something not too loud but festive -- something along the lines of a lodge theme would be great.

Love the Briarwood Inn in Golden, but it's too expensive for my departmental party.

I have friends coming in for the weekend, we are foodies and bar people. Looking for hot spots in the Cherry Creek, Larimer Square area. Our hotel is in Cherry Creek.

We plan to spend a day at each. . .including the 16th street mall area.

I've heard about the Cherry Cricket. . .what else to check out?
Thanks for your input!

Looking for something close to the field (walking distance would be great) that is quick (but not a chain or fast food) under $12 per person. I will be going to the Aug 30th game. Someplace that the locals and die hard Bronco fans eat.

Thanks

I just moved out here from Minneapolis and back there you could go to almost any bar and get ¢15 to ¢25 Buffalo Wings on Tuesday through Thursday night. It was almost an institution. However I am not having much luck finding similar deals here in Denver. Any tips?

I'm looking to find a neat place to take a date on. I don't want anything terribly expensive, but maybe somewhere kind of quiet with a good wine menu?

My husband turns 30 in two more weeks. I want to plan a surprise party for him. I was thinking of finding a fun bar/restaraunt in Denver (something central to downtown), and having his friends meet up there and surprise him. The only thing is, the places I keep thinking of don't take reservations (for example, Benny's). Any ideas? It would be for at least 10 people on a Friday. Thanks!

I'm here on business and would love to experience something in the downtown Denver that is truly unique to Denver. Love wild game, and great wine. Ate at Brook's last night, probably the best New York strip I've ever eaten.
