Trail Dust is a inexpensive fun steakhouse. Have your friends wear ties, If you get caught with a tie on .they come to your table clanging a cow bell and a horse feed bag and cut if off. Then you get a free drink. You put your name and city and state on a card than they'll hang it on the wall.. Also have live country mucic and dancing ald a big indoor slide. It's right off I25 somewhere around 90th I think. just google it. there's also on in the tech center

Depends on what type of fun you'r looking for:

Casa Bonita is a great family place or if you just wanna be a lil silly. I go w/my boyfriend. They have cliffdivers, a gorilla who runs around to scare people, a cave & sopapillas!!!

Dave & Busters is good too, theres food, an arcade (not crappy games) and pool. Can't beat that if you got a bar too!!

You said not chain, but I have to mention Hard Rock, only cause its on 16th St Mall.

I live in Colorado Springs which is an hour away & go to all these places ALL the time! Denver is alot of fun if you explore a lil! Have Fun!

Here try McCormick's at the Oxford Hotel in Lodo. It may look stuffy but trust me it is not. This is my boyfriend's favorite restaurant; the first time he brought me there I thought he was crazy because I too do not like stuffy restaurants (Wynkoop Brewery is more my style) but we went in jeans and tees and it was wonderful!

Enjoy your dinner!
