My husband turns 30 in two more weeks. I want to plan a surprise party for him. I was thinking of finding a fun bar/restaraunt in Denver (something central to downtown), and having his friends meet up there and surprise him. The only thing is, the places I keep thinking of don't take reservations (for example, Benny's). Any ideas? It would be for at least 10 people on a Friday. Thanks!

Magianno's is fabulous on the 16th street mall for Italian. They do accept reservations and serve food family style - all you can eat. It is fabulous. Also, Rodizio's is good down by Union Station. It's a meat place where they bring all different types of meat around to your table and a great salad bar. Also accepts reservations.

Wow that is really hard to get reservations on a weekend. I like the Old Spagetti Factory and they do take reservations. It a great place for a party of 10 and you can walk to lower down town and make a night of it. Also the Cheesecake Factory takes reservations also (nice place to meet, but on Friday it gets crazy). Good Luck!

Call the restaurant (Jax) directly and they'll set you up! They prefer reservations for large groups. This place is great... the food is wonderful, constantly "best seafood in Denver" etc: http://www.jaxfishhousedenver.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx

Dave and Busters, right off I-25. Easy to get to, food is good and it's a lot of fun.
