Washington, D.C. (United States, Dining Out)

My bf just got back from Iraq, and we'll be in DC for a weekend. We're staying at the DoubleTree Crystal City hotel, it's very close to Ronald Reagan Int'l. Where's a good area/restaurant to go? I'd like something fun and different, but not priced out of this world. A place where I could wear a casual dress would be a plus. Thanks!

Did Fasika's ever re-open in Washington DC?

Fasika's was located at 2447 18th Street - in the heart of Adams Morgan & was a great Ethiopian restaurant. I proposed to my wife there 18 years ago - but I saw that they had a fire in 2005 & their website says they will re-open soon - but the phone number listed is disconnected. We're going to try Dukem in Baltimore this week-end. We also used to go to the Red Sea, Meskerem, and Zed's in DC. Azeb's closed in Baltimore - or became the 5 seasons & is no longer just Ethiopian.

Who is going to the Yahoo Get Together in DC Nov. 30th?

I'll bet everyone that goes has a really good time, course there will be no beer served since most of you are not old enough, but I would imagine that Yahoo will spring for some soda pop and popcorn for the youngsters, what do you think?

Whats Good Food in DC?

so what is good in dc? Im from so. california where mexican food is the best, but is there anything good in dc? I heard there isnt really. what good pizza places are there? Not fastfood pizza like dominoes or anything like that. what grocery stores are there? any other good restaurants??? Moving from California to DC!!!

Sandwich shop near dupont circle?

About 8 years ago, I was visiting DC and had a sandwich at this small sandwich shop near Dupont Circle. There was about 4 tables in outdoor seating. They made a lamb sandwich which was SO delicious. I'm going to DC this weekend...can anyone tell me this place?
