Yes. But I cannot be more specific unless you tell me what sort of cuisine you like.
For a real experience, check out Meskerem, an Ethiopian restaurant in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC.
I'm also a fan of Nirvana, an Indian restaurant near downtown, and Java Green, an ecoconscious cafe that's practically around the corner.
In Rockville, Maryland, I usually eat at the Vegetable Garden, a really simple vegetarian place. Saigonese in Wheaton has decent food, but the atmosphere is a big fat nothing.

My absolute favourite when I visit DC, Virginia and Maryland area is
Clyde's www.clydes.com
I go to the one in Reston VA but here are some other locations;
Georgetown, Columbia, Tysons Corners, Chevy Chase, Mark Center, Tower Oaks Lodge, Gallery Place, Willow Creek Farm, Old Ebbitt Grill, 1789 Restaurant, The Tombs and The Tomato Palace.
Great food, service & ambiance & affordable - some great for families - super bands.

The 100 Very Best for 2007 ranked by Washingtonian Magazine (my favorite and it's popular around these parts... I just happened to beat my best contender to the computer - lol)
http://www.washingtonian.com/restaurantreviews/2/index.html
One aside... Maestro (#2) is now under a new chef and it's not going to be the same place... so I'd just leave them out for now. That's in McLean anyway...
