I've read in the Unofficial Disney World that the atmosphere is really fun but the food was bad. Is it bad like Mcdonald's or fast food bad (which is not bad to us) or just really bad like inedible? I definately chose it for the atmosphere and it's fine if the food is just mediocre. We are on the dining plan so price is not an issue.

I want to take my gf out to a nice resturant while we are in cali next weekend, she has never seen the ocean, and I think a restaurant with a nice view would be a really romantic place to take her, but the thing is, I have never been to LA, so I don't know anywhere nice.

I want a nice restaurant, money is not a problem, but the best value for your dollar is perfered, and please, no chain brand restautants like olive garden or something.

Any Reccomendations?

By cheap I mean around $10 including dessert for each person. So no Ruth's Chris, but no Fuddrucker's either

I have e-mailed a supervisor of a well-known buffet in Vegas, told them we have between 20 and 30 people attending, and would like to go to their buffet at 7:30 on a Friday night. We know there are long lines, but would like to bypass this, and enter at once. I also offered to pay two weeks in advance for VIP passes.
Here was the response: I can put you down on my calendar for that day and time if you would like. This way we would be able to accommodate you when you get here. Here is my question-Does this sound too good to be true, or should I look somewhere else for a place to dine in Las Vegas when inviting 20-30 guests?

I don't order steak or pork...usually chicken is safe,
For younger readers it has not always been thus.
I cook my steaks at home the way I like them..tender,juicy and done.
Ever see those pics of your brain that looks like cauliflower with parasites from raw food in it?
Ewwww..not apealing...stays in your mind.Little crawly things in
ate out holes....wonder why they scan you when you have migrains....could be one reason....hmmmmmmm

The thing is..I want a choice and not TOLD that I should eat mine that way.I don't think most people cooking know anyway but that to cook anything. ??????

Especially in Manhattan, Queens and Westchester Counties?
Though I recommend that they shouldn't be much overpriced?

My boyfriend and I want to go out tonight to celebrate my getting into grad school. I'm in the mood to dress up a little, and am wondering if there's a bar/lounge anyone knows of in Chicago that's not super expensive, where we won't look out of place if I'm in a nice dress. Good martinis are a plus, too :) Thanks for any help you guys can give!

The head hostess at our restaraunt, has recently been promoted to manager. While she has the authority to hire and fire, disipline and change any policy, we are still required to tip her out.
The servers are very upset about this and do not understand why we should have to pay someone, who has fired our co workers and has authority over us. Shouldn't it be the owners who compensate her and not us?
