One of the (Sacramento areas) newest restaurants is Crush 29. This restaurant is a local family bringing the best of Napa Valley vineyards to a restaurant. The food is reasonable and the wine choices unlimited. This new restaurant is at 1480 Eureka Road in Roseville. You can make reservations, but on the weekends it is booked two weeks in advance. You can go and wait, but the wait is long. We made a reservation two days before on a Sunday and got a 7:00pm seating. The ambiance is nice but a bit noisy. The food was excellent and the wine choices were good from inexpensive to pricey.

If you don't mind driving a few minutes outside of Sacramento, I would recommend a restaurant called, Ludy's Main Street BBQ and Catering in Woodland, CA. It is locally owned not a chain of any kind. Fresh bbq style food. Famous for it's ribs and burgers. Has a lovely outdoor patio with a running stream, live music on Friday/Saturday, friendly staff, fresh food and guranteed satisfaction, themed and decorated dining, and is casual and most of all FUN! The menu is excellant with a variety of different bbq choices including salads and specials. Also in case you were wondering they have bottle beers and beer on tap. All come in a fun "boot" glass. Check it out!

There's a place in old town Elk Grove which is a little south of Sacramento which is called the Elk Grove Brewery. I love this place. They brew their own beer and have many to choose from, awesome burgers from Southwestern to mushroom to turkey and many more. They also serve linguine, steaks, pork ribs and all of them are fantastic. They have really good onion rings and garlic fries as appetizers. They have a dessert called the Snickers meltdown which is basically a deep fried snickers bar served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Now one thing to note here if you are on a diet - not the place for you. But if you want to indulge yourself even just once, this is the place. They also have live music on weekends both rock and jazz.

For eating out, it really is the Olive backyard. for instant foodstuff burgers, i recognize McDonald's Double Cheeseburgers. I also flow to Taco Bell about 5 of 6 circumstances a year. i like the Double Decker Taco's. I in all likelihood spend the most funds with Domino's Pizza because I truly have a minimum of one Domino's a month.

Hi! Depending on what you are looking for...
For pizza I like to go to Andy B's on San Juan and Sunset.
For chinese I love Silver Dragon at Sunrise and Madison...also a good mongolian place is on Greenback across from the Sunrise mall.
My all-time favorite place is called Joe's Cafe, at Dewey and Madison. The food is GREAT and the prices are cheap. They have just about everything on the menu, and they were featured on GoodDay 31 for Nick's Neighborhood joints. Service is very good, they make you feel at home. My husband and I go there every weekend. : )
